In Oklahoma Divorce is now Called Dissolution of Marriage - and the Designation of the Parties has been changed from the Plaintiff and the Defendant to the Petitioner and the Respondent.
Otherwise the procedure remains the same.
Where the parties to a Divorce Action are fully aware of their respective legal rights and obligations it is possible that the parties may appear pro-se in Court without an attorney.
Where the parties are fully informed and where a complete agreement has been reached between the parties our office will prepare the pleadings necessary for obtaining a pro-se Waiver Dissolution of Marriage ( Divorce ).
